I'm afraid that I don't know what the error is. It's been coming up with remarkable frequency, compared to the normal problems.

I wonder...

That's what they all say. Then they come back to me next week with acute functional dyspepsia.

Right. How exactly do you go about troubleshooting this?

I'm not surprised.

Yeah, that's the one. What kind of virus could you get, though? Is it one of the community's, or an attachment opened at the wrong place and wrong time?

Going to take a lot more than that.

Nothing like being a couple hundred years over the rim. Or, well, under it, in your case. Your location? Aren't you installed on a spaceship? Has that changed---supposed destruction? You mean you were supposed to be but aren't? What happened, did they change their minds?

That's a little narrow. If the viruses here have no real pattern to them, technically they could do anything. So long as it's unexpected. Then it'd be boring. Can't have that.

Computers aren't very comforting to me in the best of times.

The destruction of Jupiter? How did that happen? Wait, you're....what the hell happened to it? Hate to tell you this, but planets usually don't blow themselves up for no reason.

Right. Confidential. And who has the confidence?

It figures. Well, so long as he asked good questions, I don't really mind being in the dark.
